Reflections
The way i clenched the steering wheel
Should have been my sign to slow down
Yet i sped up in order to run far from my shadow
Though realized
Bolted to my skin was my shadow
Sped up i did
Blowing past every stop
Absent minded of the jeopardy i was erupting
My tires skid
Smells of rubber arise over me
Head smashed through the glass
My reflection still remains in the shattered remains
Through the fuddle i hear the screams of the child i hurt
I caused her like to end suddenly
And painfully
My selfishness
Carelessness
Gleems through the droplets of blood
Of the pure innocence of a child
Whose parents
I caused the utmost amount of pain to
All I had to do
Was call an uber
