Description
I wrote this original based on my own reckless driving collision with my younger sister in the car. It was a life changing moment and I am so blessed that we were able to come out of it with little to no injuries, especially when I now understand the consequences could have been much worse. Having experienced that, I felt the need to draw awareness on such a grave matter in our society and I hope I’m able to make a difference through my music. Lyrics: It was early Wednesday morning Speeding down that busy street I tried to make a turn, it all went too fast and I screamed What could have happened to me? Slow down, look up, and drive You might just spare a life Slow down, look up, and drive Take this advice: slow down, look up, and drive I was luckier than most We all walked out of there alright Sure I had no car But at least I came out alive Some kids, they can’t survive Slow down, look up, and drive.
