Just Put it Away
Minimalistic and to the point, my artwork uses the most prevalent threat to attentive driving as the very symbol of the campaign against it. The lure of colorful notifications that impels so many teens to look away from the road will be the same one that makes them look at the facts—car crashes are the number one killer of teens in the U.S., and most of them are preventable. The solution is simple: silence, put away, and ignore your phone. Long-winded, primarily-textual infographics do not grasp the attention of teens that need quick, clear, and concise reminders of straightforward solutions. Let’s turn the tables and give the cell phone the power to save a life.
