Improve the laws to save lives
Texting and driving is a bad habit that most likely everyone does. “1 out of every 4 car crashes in the United States are caused by texting and driving”. Billions of car crashes and deaths are caused by texting and driving. Teenagers often develop a habit of texting and driving, which is very dangerous for our society and our community. People who drive have a bad habit of using their phone for music, they have a bad habit of texting and making phone calls, However, a very good way to prevent that habit is to put your phone on silent or keep turned off while driving. Many people say, “ Oh, I only use it just in case for an emergency.”, but hearing that just sounds like an excuse to use it. If we want to prevent car accidents and deaths we have to keep our phone on silent while driving. Many people aren’t aware, but people should be aware of how dangerous texting and driving is. “ Nearly 390,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting and driving.” Preventing so many accidents and deaths they can make the No Texting and Driving Laws stronger.
