Be That Change

We don’t think of it as putting those around us in danger But simply glancing at an important notification Looking for a fraction of a moment Without thought to each surrounding stranger Somebody’s Mom Somebody’s Dad Son or Daughter Sister or Brother Stolen away by failure to be a safe driver Simply shut off your phone Turn down your radio Pay close attention Don’t turn your distractions into someone else’s tombstone It only takes awareness, to make a greater change To save lives To saves families To protect from accidents and pain Be That Change

Description

A poem written about how a conscious change in each person to focus on driving rather than looking at their phone and listening to loud music could save lives and families from terrible accidents and even losing their lives.
