Owing the pied piper.
Pay attention on the road or pay the price the burden of lost lives thousands of dollars years of your time Consider the power you wield behind the wheel, whirling by in frames of steel, consequences so very real. What will you say to those who have suffered because of your choice to drive carelessly? Will you look them in the eye, and attempt to justify your actions? It is free, to stay aware not a single fine nor fare though if you don’t pay attention it could cost you everything mentioned and even more to haphazardly throw caution out of the car door.
This poem is about the consequences of distracted and reckless driving. ‘Owing the pied piper’ promotes responsible driving by showcasing a strategy, being mindful and aware, to reduce distracted and reckless driving.
