My Story: Reality
I totaled my car. I didn’t mean to. I risked my life. It was on speaker phone. I risked her life. My eyes were even on the road. I ran a stop sign. I totaled our cars. I was trying to get out of a mandatory meeting. My mind was distracted. I was in a rural area. There are less cars here. She was there. I saw what was going to happen before it did. My paper was due in the morning. I’m glad I lived to the morning. I’m glad we lived… I was tired. My friend heard my screams on the phone. I had needed to talk to her. Excuse. I was driving. Reality.
These are the thoughts and arguments I made with myself after I totaled my car due to distracted driving.
