Realization: As I wake up from my slumber, Both ways I look I sense the atmosphere filled with, Tears, pain, agony, and trauma, As thoughts race through my head, Never in a million years would I thought it would be me, Of all people, how could it be me? Wasn’t I careful enough? Not once when I operated the vehicle did I look at my phone, Or read a message or changed the music, My mind came to realization, and it hit me, I remembered the notification on my phone, as eager as I was I picked it up, looked up, darkness all around.
It doesn’t matter who you are but when you pick up the phone or become distracted when driving you’re dangerous. Just keep your eyes on the road.
