Create Real Impact
A way to combat distracted driving is by implementing a user interface into the front windshield that deciphers whether you are looking ahead, to the sides, or backward and determines whether to give you a light shock. The light shock is to make sure the driver is aware that they are not paying attention to driving and force them to pay attention until they are. Also, there will be a limit to the number of times they are shocked until the authorities are contacted to check on the driver. This will create a way police officers or paramedics to be notified when there is a distracted driver near or in the vicinity.
Above is my solution to combat distracted drivers and lower the death rate.
