‘I Love You, Ma’

Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can hurt me. I hear so many say that words can’t hurt. But they do it hurts when someone calls me a female dog or bastard, it can hurt. My mama often tells me that unsaid words can also hurt. For example, when I leave the house and don’t say goodbye. I know you may be wondering how does this relate to reckless driving. When you are driving recklessly you are putting yourself and others on the road in danger. However, you are also putting your mother, who’s sitting on the couch, catching up on Stranger Things, in danger. Reckless driving doesn’t just affect those in the car or on the road. It affects your mother, your father, your wife, your sister, and it even affects me. Your mother wants to hear you say, ‘I love you, ma,’

Description

I feel that when talking about reckless and distracted driving, many direct the situation on how it can hurt or kill the driver and those on the road. However, I believe people should know that reckless driving can leave a child, fatherless. Or a mother, motherless, and I sure your mother wants to hear you say, ‘I love you, ma.’
