Dear Mom

Krystal G

Dear Mom, Before I got my license You always told me to get off my phone. You always told me to never text and drive. You always told me to not answer that phone call. You always told me to be careful. But why did you tell me to stop doing these things If you did them? The phone call could have waited. You could have sent the message later. You could have put your phone down. But you didn’t. And now I am wondering if I did something wrong If maybe I could have reminded you to stop Because every time you use your phone in the car Not only are you risking someone else’s life But also mine.

I have always been told to not use my phone all day, especially when driving. But even so, I have seen my family members do exactly what they tell me not to do. Whether it is answering a phone call or using the navigator, it is not okay.
