Don’t Forget That Death Comes in Twos

Valdreace W

As I hold your hand in mine I feel a feeling so divine I can’t help but smile As the radio plays our favorite song And I scream the lyrics along My smile widens Streaking from ear to ear And I realize I have nothing to fear My sister in the back seat Apple of my eye You look up and see a truck driving by And I swear I hear you I hear you sigh As you turn the steering wheel to the left To let that truck by But hand in hand We didn’t understand That death comes in two’s Like a tractor-trailer painted blue Coming into sight on our right Now we hold hands forever You and I And my sister who is the apple of my eye

This is a poem that grasps the true results of distracted driving
