Saving The Miles

Saving The Miles Another day people say the road has gone insane As they drive by with another soul walking another lane Right behind them a trail of dark tire marks Thinking it’s a message to the world, but doesn’t make a spark The finger’s on the key with a teen’s smile in view Their next stop was the movies or or what they’ll learn new Adding all these collisions, strike everybody’s feelings To spread with a voice, for everyone to rejoice To add a course to schools about the roads Have big lectures of what’s been untold The more teaching the better For reality to be stronger Save four thousand to be reduced to zero For the teens need someone to be a hero Let a crash be a word from a decade in the past Cause every engine shouldn’t be running so fast The more we speak the less crash for a while With everyone together we can save a teen’s last miles

This entry is about learning what happens to teenagers on the road and how people are feeling about it. It goes in depth of how a teenager can have a regular drive being turned into a serious issue.
