To The Children Driving,
Last year, I was in a car crash with my friend. My friend was driving, and I was in the passenger seat. We were both very young and inexperienced and far from home. It was very scary not only to be in a car crash, but to be going through this horrifying thing without any familiar faces around to guide you. My friend was too young and under too much pressure to make such a long drive without any supervision, and we faced a terrifying instant together as a result. This is why for the Create Real Impact scholarship, I chose to focus on preventing young drivers who lack confidence in their skills from making foolish and harrowing decisions. Thank you!
